 Nusa Dua beach formerly was one of tourism area developed by BTDC (Tourism And Development Council's Bali), a private company in tourism field.
In year 1980 Nusa Dua is region that didn't have any potential to became favorite tourisms object, but soon after developed by BTDC Nusa Dua as region is primadona for tourists, with its white sandy beach, luxury hotels along the coast: Hilton, Sheraton, Melia Sol, Club Med etc.
Similar with Sanur beach, Nusa Dua is also one that has many watersport's attractions where you can do most.
Nusa Dua is only around 10 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport and 5 km from Jimbaran. It has very nice oceanic landscape, besides its white sand also catchy reefs which stand out on many places on the sea. In the morning, sunrise will visually be very beautiful here.
Nusa Dua also provided with shopping centers located at BDTC'S area.
You can also find traditional market that sells Balinese handicrafts like bags, sandals, shoes, statues, clothings and more can be seen here, as well as a supermarket for buying usual stuffs.
